The kitchen has a warm country style home from home feel and although there is no seperate sitting room the kitchen offers a sofa and comfortable seating around the table and is the natural hub of the home. The whole house and gardens are laid out in a rambling organic way that is charming and interesting. This is as much a home as a holiday let thus retaining warmth and character. It is well maintained and beautifully presented. Hydra island has no motorized vehicles. Donkey or foot is your mode of transport and life slows down to reflect this pace. This is a great house for a family summer holiday, with lots of space, privacy, peace and quiet and of course the pool!
