Villa Maria is a 2 storey private house to rent, furnished to a high standard.
Not far from the port, with not many steps to climb.
In a private walled garden adjacent to the house there is a large swimming pool and terrace.
The house is divided into two self contained apartments that can be used seperately, but which communicate with an internal staircase and a trap door.
Outside you will find plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture and a large traditional fourno for BBQ dinners under the stars.
Accommodation
• Pool Apartment consists of a large room that is set up with a comfortable living area to the front and stairs lead up to a double bedroom.
Pool Apartment has been carved out of the mountain side so is very cool in the summer as well as creating a unique atmosphere.
The kitchen and bathroom are to the side of the main living/bedroom.
The kitchen is particularly well equipped with a full sized oven/hob with extractor fan and a larder fridge/freezer.
The shower room has been attractively created with part of the rock face forming the back wall of the shower.
It's a bit like showering in a waterfall! There is a small staircase, closed with a trap door, at the back of the kitchen, which connects the Pool Apartment with The Pool House above.
Both properties are independent but they have the option to have the trap door opened so the tow apartments join to form one house.
• The Pool House living area has plenty of comfortable seating, a dining area next to the window so you can look at the harbour views, a small kitchen with fridge/icebox, 2 ring hob, coffee maker, etc.
The Pool House is air-conditioned and heated throughout so is suitable for use at any time of the year.
There is a television in the living room and a growing collection of books that you are welcome to read during your stay.
There are two double bedrooms to sleep 2 each so a maximum of four people in the apartment.
Each bedroom has plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and the beds are new, with good mattresses and linen.
There is an attractive marble finished shower room between the bedrooms.
The whole house is offered to let on a yearly basis at a rate of €1500 pcm.
